It is one of the widely used liquid level measuring instruments. However, as the magnetic flap level gauge is widely used, it is also necessary to further understand its inspection process and how to install it. What should be paid attention to? The magnetic flap liquid level gauge belongs to the field measurement of liquid level. It mainly takes the float as the sensing element and the magnetic steel drives the flap indication. The liquid level measurement can be realized without external energy. The magnetic flap level gauge can achieve high sealing and leakage prevention in technology, and can work safely and reliably under various harsh environments such as low temperature, high temperature, high pressure and strong corrosion. In order to realize on-site operation, it can also be equipped with upper and lower limit switches and remote transmission transmitters to realize remote control, indication and recording.

The magnetic flap level gauge is composed of the main pipe (measuring buoy), indicator, magnetic float, connecting flange and blowdown valve. The application of magnetic flap level gauge is very mature. The technology of main tube, Teflon float, dry reed tube and two-wire 4 ~ 20mA transmitter is very perfect, and the accuracy can reach grade 0.75.
The production of magnetic flap level gauge shall be subject to quality inspection and control in strict accordance with the following production process:
1. During production, we must understand what medium the instrument is measuring, determine the material used by the instrument according to the medium, select the main pipe, and formulate the length in strict accordance with the customer's needs; Then, a fixed hole shall be made on the drilling machine, and the burr at the orifice and nozzle must be polished and polished until its surface is smooth.
2. The top of the main pipe shall be subject to head treatment, and the liquid introduction small pipe, process connecting flange, pontoon flange and blowdown flange shall be subject to welding technical process. It should be noted that when welding the process connecting flange, the operation needs to be carried out on the special welding channel, so as to ensure the levelness and straightness between the two flanges and make the center distance of the flange equal to the length of the main pipe; Passivate and clean all welds of the magnetic flap level gauge to ensure its bright and clean appearance. Check whether there is leakage in the weld and conduct hydraulic test.
3. When assembling the display panel, it is necessary to check the turnover condition of the flap again in this process, so as to ensure that each flap is sensitive to turnover; Then use special sealing plug and sealant to seal the display panel. After this step, use U-tube pressure gauge to detect the loopholes to ensure that the sealing degree of the display panel reaches the protection grade IP66 / IP67.
After understanding the detection process and specific steps of the magnetic flap level gauge, let's take a look at the precautions for the installation of the magnetic flap level gauge:
1. In order to prevent the magnetic float from sliding in the buoy and being hit during transportation, before leaving the factory, the magnetic flap level gauge needs to fix the float on the side of the buoy with nylon tape. Please open the lower flange before installation, and then put the float into the buoy (Note: the magnetic end of the heavy end tape is upward, and cannot be upside down). A valve shall be installed between the magnetic flap level gauge and the container, so that the materials can be cut off at any time during cleaning and maintenance. Magnets are not allowed to approach around the cylinder of the magnetic flap liquid level gauge, especially iron clamps, otherwise the normal operation of the liquid level gauge will be affected; And the medium shall not contain solid impurities or magnetic substances to avoid jamming the float. When installing the top mounted magnetic flap level gauge, the protective conduit of the level gauge and the main conduit must be vertical and on the same vertical line. The floating ball connecting rod cannot be bent and must be installed straight. For 304 PTFE lined anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge, due to the unique sealing structure adopted at the connection between the pontoon and the flange, it needs to be assembled with special tools. In order to ensure the sealing reliability, it is forbidden to disassemble it without permission after leaving the factory, otherwise the consequences will be borne by yourself. Before use, use the correction magnetic steel to set the flap below zero to red and other flaps to silver white.
2. When the magnetic flap level gauge is put into operation, first open the valve of the upper liquid guide pipe, and then slowly open the valve of the lower liquid guide pipe to let the liquid medium flow smoothly, so as to avoid the rapid rise of the liquid medium with the float, resulting in the failure or disorder of the flap (in case of this phenomenon, it can be corrected with magnetic steel). There should be no solid impurities in the float of the magnetic flap level gauge to avoid blocking the float. According to the condition of the medium, the pontoon can be cleaned regularly to remove the internal impurities.
3. For the ultra long magnetic flap level gauge (the measurement range is greater than 4m), the logistics and transportation cost is high, and the level gauge is generally made in sections. The segmentation method has the following two forms, which can be determined according to the actual interface form of the customer's field equipment.
At present, the magnetic flap level gauge can be flexibly used to measure the medium level of various towers, tanks, tanks, spherical vessels, boilers and other equipment after appropriate improvement. It can achieve high sealing and leak proof, and is widely used in high temperature, high pressure and corrosion-resistant occasions. There is no blind area in the whole measurement process, with clear display and large measurement range.
