Correct assembly use and maintenance of Magnetic level meter



1. Magnetically conductive substances are not allowed to approach around the body of the Magnetic level meter, and iron wire fixing is prohibited, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the Magnetic level meter;

2. If the user adopts the heat tracing pipeline by himself, the non-magnetic conductive material, such as red copper tube, must be selected. The heat tracing temperature is determined according to the medium condition;

3. The installation of the Magnetic level meter must be vertical, and a ball valve should be installed between the magnetic flap level gauge and the container lead pipe to facilitate maintenance and cleaning;

4. The medium should not contain solid impurities or magnetic substances, so as not to block the float;

5. Before use, the small ball below the zero position should be set to red with a calibration magnet, and the other balls should be set to white;

6. Open the bottom flange and install the magnetic float (note: the heavy end with the magnetic end is upward, and cannot be flipped upside down.);

8. According to the medium conditions, the main pipe should be cleaned irregularly to remove impurities;

9. For liquid level gauges that exceed a certain length (ordinary type > 3 meters, anti-corrosion type > 2 meters), it is necessary to add intermediate reinforcement flanges or lugs as fixed supports to increase strength and overcome their own weight;

10. The installation position of the Magnetic level meter should avoid or stay away from the inlet and outlet of the material medium to avoid rapid changes in the local area of the material fluid and affect the accuracy of the liquid level measurement;

11. When equipped with remote transmission supporting instruments, the following must be done:

(1) The remote transmission supporting instrument should be close to the main pipe of the liquid level gauge, and fixed with a stainless steel hoop (iron is prohibited);

(2) The sensing surface of the remote transmission supporting instrument should face and be close to the main pipe;

(3) The zero position of the remote transmission supporting instrument should be on the same horizontal line as the zero position indication of the liquid level gauge;

(4) The connection between the remote transmission supporting instrument and the display instrument or industrial computer should preferably be laid through a protective tube or with a shielded two-core cable;

(5) After the junction box inlet hole is laid, it is required to be well sealed to prevent the intrusion of rainwater, moisture, etc. and the remote transmission supporting instrument cannot work normally. The junction box should be covered in time after the maintenance or debugging is completed.
