Overview

LUGB vortex flowmeter is a precision instrument manufactured that measuring the flow of liquid, gas and steam in sealed pipelines. Because the detection element is sealed in the detection body, it does not contact the measured medium, and there are no movable parts inside, so it does not need on-site maintenance. Therefore, it is highly respected by the majority of users, and is widely used in the measurement management and process control of petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgical pharmacy, thermoelectric and paper industry·

Within a certain range of Reynolds number, the output signal frequency is not affected by the physical properties and component changes of the fluid. The instrument coefficient is only related to the shape and size of the vortex generator. There is no need to compensate when measuring the volume flow of the fluid. Generally, there is no need to recalibrate the instrument coefficient after replacing accessories.
It has a wide range of applications, and the flow of steam, gas and liquid can be measured.

Requirements for correct installation
Before installing the flowmeter, the pipeline should be purged to prevent large foreign matters such as welding slag in the pipeline from affecting the normal operation of the sensor or even damaging the sensor.
Vortex flow sensor can be installed horizontally or vertically on the pipeline. The measured medium should flow in the full pipe. When installed vertically, the flow direction should be from bottom to top.
When temperature and pressure compensation is required, the pressure transmitter is installed at 3-5d downstream of the flow sensor, and the temperature measuring element (usually platinum resistance) is installed at 6-8d downstream.
The sensor can be installed on the side of the horizontal pipe, especially to measure superheated steam, saturated steam and cryogenic liquid, so that the temperature of the fluid has little effect on the amplifier. When it is used to measure high-temperature liquid or the pipeline needs to be cleaned frequently, the sensor can be inverted.
On the pipeline with insulating layer, do not use insulating materials to surround the connecting rod connecting the amplifier box on the sensor, which shall not exceed one third of the height of the connecting rod at most. The sensor housing can be wrapped with insulating material.
When measuring the gas flow, if the measured gas contains a small amount of liquid, the sensor should be installed at a higher place of the pipeline; When measuring liquid flow, if the measured liquid contains a small amount of gas, the sensor should be installed at the lower part of the pipeline
