The working principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. When measuring the flow rate, the liquid flows through a magnetic field perpendicular to the flow direction, and the flow of the conductive liquid induces a voltage proportional to the average flow rate (that is, the volume flow rate).

The induced voltage signal is detected by two electrodes in direct contact with the liquid, and transmitted to the amplifier through the cable, and then converted into a unified output signal.
