Working principle of Active-sleeve Flange Armored Thermocouple
The working principle of armored thermocouple is that two ends of conductors with different components are welded to form a loop. The direct temperature measuring end is called the measuring end, and the terminal is called the reference end. When there is a temperature difference between the measuring end and the reference end, thermal current will be generated in the circuit. When the display instrument is connected, the instrument will indicate the corresponding temperature value of the thermoelectric EMF generated by the thermocouple. The thermoelectric electromotive force of the sheathed thermocouple will increase with the temperature at the measuring end. The thermoelectric electromotive force is only related to the conductor material of the sheathed thermocouple and the temperature difference at both ends, but not to the length and diameter of the thermoelectric electrode. The structure of sheathed thermocouple is made of conductor, insulating magnesium oxide and 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel protective tube after many times of drawing. The sheathed thermocouple product mainly consists of junction box, terminal block and sheathed thermocouple, and is equipped with various installation and fixing devices.
